Apple is about to get sued by a popular Twitch steamer named Pokimane who claims her nude pictures are now on public display thanks to the company's crappy security, and she's rounding up others to join her in court.
The hacker who has not yet been identified stole Pokimane's nudes that were stashed in her praivte iCloud account.

As to who the photos were taken for may never be answered, as Pokimane has not made an official statement.
One thing is clear, Pokimane is done stashing her photos on iCloud.
